Gladiolus

Gladiolus also known as sword Lily and for its tall flower spikes, available in a multi-colors, gladioli grow between 2.5 to 5 feet in height. More than 230 species available. Gladiolas come in gorgeous colors, ranging from white, yellow, pink and lavender, to rose, burgundy, purple and even green. The bulbs are incredibly easy to grow. Just plant them in spring for flowers in late summer.

Types of Marigold are:

  • Blue Bonnet, and
  • Impresive Gladiolus etc.

But some peoples know by colour name like:

Control and Prevention:

Leaf infection can be controlled by sprying the plants with 0.25% Dithane M-44, twice a week and by dusting healthy corms with Dithane M-44, during storage.

The corms during storage should be examined periodically and disease corms should be sorted out and discarded. Storing of the healthy corms may prevent the occurrence of the disease. During of corms with Dithane M-44 is helpful in preventing this disease during storage.
